Pastor Gregory & Emily Vaal and family

Pastor Gregory Vaal trusted the LORD as his Personal Saviour when he was five years old after hearing his father witness to two JW women. It was at that time that Gregory understood that, even though he was only a child, he was a sinner and that, according to the Bible, he was on his way to Hell. He turned to Christ and repented from his sin and asked Christ to save him and take him to Heaven when he died.

At the age of twelve Gregory committed his life to the LORD for active service in the ministry believing that God wanted him to serve as a pastor or missionary. As a young man he tried to be as involved in his church as much as possible teaching Sunday School classes and Vacation Bible Schools, etc. In 1998 Gregory graduated from The King’s University College in Edmonton with a Bachelor of Science and later went into the Emergency Medical Services training to the level of Paramedic (ACP). While working in EMS for ten years, he took pastoral training through his home church Victory Baptist Church in Sherwood Park, Alberta. Pastor Gregory and Emily Vaal served at New Testament Baptist Church in Edmonton as Assistant Pastor from June 2007 through April 2009. Pastor Vaal was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel on February 28.09 at Victory Baptist Church.

Pastor Gregory Vaal moved into Kamloops and assumed the pastorate at Berean Baptist on April 21.09. The Vaals are enjoying the city of Kamloops and the friendliness of the people they have met.

Pastor Vaal has a strong interest to show people that the Bible tells us we can know for sure we have eternal life through repentance of our sin and trusting in Christ for our only way of salvation. For more information on how to know for sure YOU are going to Heaven please click here.
