The Bible is one of the best selling books of all time and has been translated into over 2000 languages. It contains 66 books written over a period of approximately 1,500 years and records more than 2,500 fulfilled prophecies. It claims to be the very Word of God and to be profitable and instructive for every area of our life (II Timothy 3:16-17). Most importantly, it is the only reliable source of information we have about life beyond the grave.
Considering all of that, we believe there is nothing more profitable than examining the Bible’s teachings and finding out for ourselves what it has to say. We encourage you to join us for individual or group Bible studies that examine questions such as “What is Truth and how can I recognize it?”, “Who is Jesus?”, “Who are we?”, “What has Jesus done for us?” and “What is the Way to Heaven?”. One of our favorite Bible study programs is the “One Year Discipleship Course” by David Cloud. We have used this with some of our people and they have truly enjoyed it. This course is a comprehensive program that steps a person through the important doctrines of scripture. One of the unique aspects of this course is that it is packed full of scripture references to show that the doctrines it teaches are based on the Bible and not on man’s philosophy. We have recently secured permission from the author, David Cloud, to offer this program in a digital format for the purposes of our ministry. We hope to have many of the people from our church go through this program for their own edification and also so they can take someone through the program themselves. The program can either be done through a paper copy or through signing into our Moodle Learning Management portal. The Moodle portal can either be accessed using the link below or it can be accessed through the IOS/Android Moodle App.
